At Hankscraft Runxin our goal is to offer products with a better design, materials, manufacturing and function. We are constantly searching for new, innovative ways to improve our products. This mindset drove us to develop a ball valve unlike any other in the industry. In 2012, after countless hours of research and trials, we extended the hermetic head faces technology to create ceramic hard seals. This led to the successful development of the Ceramic Core Ball Valve, the most durable valve on the market.
Traditional metal core ball valves can develop issues including leakage, increased torque, corrosion and wear. It is clear that the standard materials used in manufacturing ball valves doesn’t meet expectations.
At Hankscraft Runxin, we couldn’t allow these issues to continue to happen. This motivated our analytical team to provide a better solution, which resulted in our introduction of the Ceramic Ball Valve. Precisely constructed, the ceramic ball valve is perfect for heavy commercial use. Sintered at a temperature of over 3000 degrees Fahrenheit (about 1/3 of the temperature of the sun) the ceramics are hardened to HRA 85+. This extremely high hardness of the ceramics allows them to work excellently in high abrasion and high flow conditions. The ceramics also offer chemical stability making them more resistant to corrosion than other valves. In addition to their chemical stability, the ceramic ball core and the ceramic valve seat are precisely-ground in pairs ensuring zero leakage during factory testing. This precision grinding and its self-balancing design create less than half the torque of a traditional ball valve while operating.
While Hankscraft Runxin’s Ceramic Ball Valves provides several design features to improve performance compared to ball valves made from traditional materials, the biggest advantage is the longevity of our parts. Made from rock, Hankscraft Runxin’s high-quality, patented Ceramic Core Ball Valves are built to last.
To ensure the quality of our Ceramic Ball Valves, each valve undergoes a thorough 30-point inspection procedure during production. These tests include a 100% air and water pressure sealing test, along with testing the material, the life aging, the flow curve and the pressure resistance. The precision grinding and roundness testing ensure sphericity of the ceramic ball to less than two ten-thousandths of an inch, which is less than half the thickness of saran wrap. Our inspections also test the ball valve’s size, hardness, acid and alkali resistance, and electrical control. This process of quality assurance is why our Ceramic Ball Valves come with a lifetime guarantee.
Beyond providing an improved design and lifetime guarantee, ball valves from Hankscraft Runxin are also versatile, with options available in manual, pneumatic and electronic drive styles. They are constructed with a variety of materials to meet the most demanding requirements, such as UPVC, PPO, and stainless steel. Connections for our ball valves can be configured for threads, flanges, UPVC and more. We also offer manual and electronic plastic 3-way valves as well as a timer-driven plastic valve option. Each of the plastic options comes with the choice of connectivity including NPT Male thread, Metric female thread, and UPVC Glue. In addition, Hankscraft Runxin provides a stainless-steel option that is pneumatically-driven with a flange connection. The stainless-steel options come with female NPT connectivity or a flange connection.
Hankscraft Runxin’s Ceramic Core Ball Valves are reliable, versatile, simple to install and to use. Best of all, our ball valves are guaranteed for life. If you’re ready to start finding innovative solutions for your water treatment infrastructure, contact us today!
